Theatre East will present readings of James McLure’s companion pieces, Lone Star and Laundry and Bourbon as part of its Neighborhood Reading Series at O’Lunney’s on Monday, September 19 at 7pm.
Lone Star is an uproarious comedy about two bawdily rambunctious Texas brothers, and will feature Judson Jones, William Franke, and Christian Pedersen. Laundry and Boubon focuses on the women in the story, with the cast including Christa Kimlicko Jones, Shorey Walker, and Valerie Redd.
A 6pm mixer will precede the reading. Admission is free.
