Phoenix Theatre Ensemble Announces 2011-2012 Season

Phoenix Theatre Ensemble has announced its programming for the 2011-12 season.

The mainstage productions will include a revival of Yasmina Reza’s Tony-Award winning play Art (December 8-18) and the world premiere of Glyn Maxwell’s new play, Agamemnon (March 22-April 1).

The company’s staged reading series will feature August Strindberg’s Facing Death (October 11, 15, 16), a triple bill of Strindberg’s The Father, The Stronger, and The Pariah (February 21, 25, 26), and his masterwork Dance of Death (May 1, 5, 6).

The Phoenix for the Family Series will feature productions of two family-friendly musicals by Kathy Menino and Ellen Mandel: The Toymaker’s Apprentice (December 10 and 17), and Rumpelstiltskin (February 20, March 24, March 31).
