Penny Arcade, Annie Golden, Reverend Billy, et al. Set for Howl! Arts Project 2011

Participants have been announced for the 3rd annual Howl! Arts Project 2011, a month-long series of music, film, theater, performance art, burlesque, drag entertainment, and family fun to take place at Theatre 80 St Marks, October 1-31.

In addition to the previously reported revival of Harold Rome’s satire Pins and Needles, will be TWEED TheaterWorks Fractured Classicks Series’ Whatever Happened to Baby Jane starring Penny Arcade and Brenda Bergman; Sun (Audio Movie), the only other musical from Hair writers James Rado and Gerome Ragni; a concert version of Vice Palace: The Last Cockettes Musical from San Francisco’s Grand Guignol Thrillpeddlers; Students on Strike, a new musical from Rosie’s Theater Kids; plays from David Caudle, Michael Small, Bekah Brunstetter, and Claire Downs; plus performances and work from Robert I Rubinsky, Annie Golden, Vangeline Theater, Reverend Billy, Jennifer Blowdryer, comedian Joey Gay, The Unitards, 3 Teens Kill 4 (3TK4), and others.
