Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson and two-time American Country Music Award winner Julianne Hough are set to participate in a concert held in conjunction with a free screening of the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz in Central Park on September 29. The event will be held in Rumsey Field.

The concert will precede the screening and will be directed by The Roots' Grammy Award-winning drummer and record producer Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson, who will also perform alongside a band assembled especially for the show. Hudson and Hough are expected to perform songs from the movie. Following the concert, the movie will be shown on a giant inflatable screen.

The concert and screening are part of a 70th anniversary celebration of The Wizard of Oz and are sponsored by Netflix which will also allow Internet users the opportunity to watch a newly restored version of the movie online free -- and commercially uninterrupted -- on October 3.
