Nancy Anderson and Jeffry Denman will star in Yank!, a musical by brothers David and Joseph Zellnik, at the Gallery Players in Brooklyn, October 20-November 4. The production will be directed by Igor Goldin. Additional cast and creative team will be announced at later date.

Set during World War II, the show takes a look at gays in the military by following the story of a war reporter and an army private who fall in love and struggle to survive in a time and place where the odds are stacked against them. A previous incarnation of the musical was a hit of the 2005 New York Musical Theatre Festival.

She starred in the London production of Kiss Me, Kate and the PBS version of the musical. Anderson has also appeared in many editions of the Broadway by the Year series and is a frequent performer at Broadway at Birdland.

Denman starred in the NYMF production of Yank! He is currently appearing in Los Angeles in the Reprise! Broadway Best's production of On Your Toes. His many stage credits include The Producers, How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, White Christmas, and Cats.
