Burgess, Cooper, Lenox, Jackson, Mason, Mendes, et al. Set for Broadway at Birdland

The August line-up for Broadway at Birdland has been announced. The series is co-sponsored by Jim Caruso's Cast Party and TheaterMania.

On Monday, August 4 at 7pm, current Hairspray star Karen Mason will celebrate the release of her recent CD Right Here, Right Now. Mason has also starred on Broadway in Mamma Mia! and Sunset Boulevard.

On Monday, August 11 at 7pm, Tituss Burgess, Janet Dacal, Darius De Haas, Christopher Jackson, Andy Senor, and Veronica Vasquez-Jackson will participate in ExtravaGainza: The Songs of Henry Gainza.

Next up, La La Brooks, Chuck Cooper, Lilli Cooper, Asmeret Ghebremichael, Chad Goodridge, Rebecca Naomi Jones, Justin Keyes, Adriane Lenox, Joshua Melvin, Elisabeth Mendes, Maurice Murphy, Harry Thompson, Destan Owens, Shayna Steele, and Sophia Stephens will participate in Soul Deep: An Anthology of Black Music on Monday August 18 at 7pm. The event will honor Phylicia Rashad and raise money for Broadway Inspirational Voices.
