Fabrice Calmels, Marcelo Gomes, Yuan Yuan Tan et al. Set for Fire Island Dance Festival

The lineup for the Fire Island Dance Festival (FIDF) has been announced. The event will run July 17-18 and benefits Dancers Responding to AIDS (DRA), a program of Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS.

This sixteenth edition of the Festival will include performances by Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, American Ballet Theatre principal Marcelo Gomes, Joffrey Ballet Chicago principal Fabrice Calmels, Boston Ballet, Camille Brown, Mark Stuart Dance Theatre and San Francisco Ballet principals Yuan Yuan Tan and Damien Smith performing choreography by Christopher Wheeldon.

FIDF 16 will also mark premiere dances by Travis Wall and Stephen Petronio, as well as a special performance by MOMIX which will be part of a festival kick-off party for Leadership Supporters only on Friday July 16.
