A stage adaptation of Neil Young's song cycle, Greendale will be among the selections presented at the 15th annual Ice Factory summer festival of new work, to be presented at the Ohio Theatre, July 9-August 23.

The rock opera Neil Young's Greendale (July 23-26), is presented by Undermain Theatre, adapted for the stage by Bruce DuBose, and directed by Katherine Owen. This portrait of the changing face of small town America, performed with a live band, explores the lives of three generations of the Green family through themes ranging from corruption to mass media consolidation to environmentalism.

The festival will also include Do Not Do This Ever Again (July 9-12), written by Karinne Keithley and directed by Maria Goyanes; TRACES/fades (July 16-19), written and directed by Lenora Champagne with music by Daniel Levi; Heistman (July 30-August 2), written by Obie-Winner Matthew Maher, directed by Gabriella Barnstone, and featuring Steven Rattazzi; red-haired Thomas (August 6-9), written and directed by Robert Lyons; W.M.D. (just the low points) (August 13-16), created by the ensemble and directed by Kevin Doyle; and Victory at the Dirt Place (August 20-23), written & directed by Adriano Shaplin.
