Barbara Cook, Viola Davis, Sean Hayes, Liev Schreiber and Christopher Walken will serve as presenters at the 2010 Drama League Awards Ceremony, to be held May 21 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel. As previously announced, the event will be co-hosted by Vanessa Williams and Michael Urie.
Cook, Davis, Hayes, Schreiber and Walken are all among the nominees for Drama League awards this year. Among the other nominees are Daniel Craig, Tyne Daly, Hugh Dancy, Carrie Fisher, Valerie Harper, Judith Ivey, Scarlett Johansson, Leslie Jordan, Angela Lansbury, Linda Lavin, Jude Law, Laura Linney, Alfred Molina, Rosie O’Donnell, Tony Shalhoub, Denzel Washington, and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
Also, as previously announced, Nathan Lane will receive the Distinguished Achievement in Musical Theatre Award, Kenny Leon will be honored with the Julia Hansen Award for Excellence in Directing, and Macy’s Parade and Entertainment Group will receive the Unique Contribution to the Theatre Award.
