Mia Katigbak, Peter Kim, Ed Lin, James Saito Set for 2G’s Instant Vaudeville

2G will present Instant Vaudeville, featuring 15 new pieces in honor of the company’s 15th Anniversary at the Walker Space Theater on Saturday, April 28 at 3pm and 7pm, and Sunday, April 29 at 3pm.

Instant Vaudeville will include a song sung by a puppet, a musical, a monologue about the rise and fall of Jeremy Lin, and a dramatic interpretation of Ed Lin’s new novel One Red Bastard. Writers had nine days to write and they had one week to put the work on its feet.

The event will feature Nora Chau, Dustin Chinn, Miyoko Conley, Clarence Coo, Louis Changchien, Samantha Chanse, Jackie Chung, Mia Chung, Bobby Foley, Eston Fung, Andrew Guilarte, Mrinalini Kamath, Jon Kern, Mia Katigbak, Peter Kim, Soomi Kim, Christopher Larkin, Kristine Haruna Lee, Mike Lew, Teresa Avia Lim, Angela Lin, Ed Lin, Jodi Lin, Victor Maog, Edgar Mendoza, Don Nguyen, Rica de Ocampo, Aya Ogawa, Eugene Oh, Maria-Christina Olivares, Matt Park, A. Rey Pamatmat, Andy Pang, Ralph Pena, Eileen Rivera, Sung Rno, James Saito, Susan Stanton, Dave Shih, Nandita Shenoy, and Suzi Takahashi.
