Mark Nadler, Ryan O’Connor, Joan Rivers, et al. Set for Laurie Beechman Theatre in May

The Laurie Beechman Theatre, located within The West Bank Café, has announced its programming for the month of May.

Previously announced shows include Ryan O’Connor Eats His Feelings (May 2-23); Loose Screws ((May 6-June 4); and the FringeBENEFITS Series (beginning May 5).

Humorist and CBS Morning Show commentator Nancy Giles and author and comedian Cynthia Kaplan return the West Bank Café with The New Jack Parr Show on Friday, May 20 at 9:30pm. Johnny D., Patrice Covington, Terance Reddick, and Savannah White will perform at the benefit, Songs for a Cause: AIDS in NYC on Wednesday, May 4 at 9:30pm.

May highlights will also include legendary comedian and Celebrity Apprentice winner Joan Rivers (May 3, 10, 12, 19, 31); Mark Nadler in Crazy 1961 (May 26); and songwriter Joe Iconis in The Friday Night Commotion (May 27).

Additional performers will include Jackie Draper, Tracey Gilbert, Adrienne Haan, Donna Hayes, Denis Lambert, Nick Luckenbaugh, Susie Mosher, Leslie Orofino, Barbara Porteus, Julie Rogelstad, Gabrielle Stravelli, and the folky-musical comedy band Summer & Eve.

Programming will also include the next installments of the series Le Scandal Cabaret, Cabaret Cares, Sondheim Unplugged; as well as Time After Time: A (Mostly) 80’s Tribute; Love in the Nick of Time; and Community Theatre Advanced Musical Theatre Workshop Performance.
