Alan Alda, Rosemary Harris, Judy Kaye, et al. Set for Theodore Bikel: The First 85 Years

Alan Alda, Rosemary Harris, and Judy Kaye will among the celebrities participating in Theodore Bikel: The First 85 Years, a concert in honor of the Broadway star to be held at 7:30pm on Monday, June 15 at Carnegie Hall. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Juvenile Law Center.

Additional participants will include David Amram, Beyond the Pale, Artie Butler, Patricia Conolly, Arlo Guthrie, David Krakauer, Tom Paxton, Serendipity 4, Noel Paul Stookey, Susan Werner, Michael Wex, and Peter Yarrow.

Bikel is best known for originating the role of Captain von Trapp in the Broadway production of The Sound of Music and for his over 2,000 performances in the role of Tevye in various productions of Fiddler on the Roof. He is currently touring the country in the show Sholom Aleichem: Laughter Through Tears.
