Nick Jonas, Bernadette Peters to Guest Star on Season Finale of NBC’s Smash

Tony Award winner Bernadette Peters and Broadway star Nick Jonas will appear on the season finale of NBC’s Smash on Monday, May 14.
Jonas, who plays young star Lyle West on the series, is currently starring on Broadway in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, playing at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. Among his other stage credits are Beauty and the Beast and Les Miserables, in both New York and London.
Peters plays Broadway legend Leigh Carlton, the mother of actress Ivy Lynn (played by Megan Hilty). She appeared earlier this season in the Broadway revival of Follies. She received Tony Awards for Song and Dance, and Annie Get Your Gun. Her other Broadway credits include Gypsy, Sunday in the Park With George, and A Little Night Music.
Smash also stars Debra Messing, Katharine McPhee, Christian Borle, Anjelica Huston, Jack Davenport, Brian d’Arcy James, Raza Jaffrey, and Jaime Cepero.
