Broadway 4D Theaters to Renovate 42nd Street’s Times Square Theater

Broadway 4D Theaters, LLC has entered into a long term lease with The New 42nd Street, Inc for the Times Square Theater, located on 42nd Street, and will undertake a full renovation of the theater.

The theater, which is scheduled to open in 2013, will house Broadway Sensation – A 4D Musical Spectacular, a celebration of the Broadway Musical including a 3D film enhanced show with in-theater special effects.

In addition to restoring the theater’s original architectural elements, the plan for renovation will also add design features which will provide audiences with a unique backstage experience. These features will include a patrons entrance through the theater’s original stage door, a 20 ft x 100 ft technologically advanced marquee, and the latest 4D film technology.
