Julie Reiber to Release Debut CD Love Travels in November

Julie Reiber will release her debut album Love Travels in November. James Sampliner will serve as arranger/orchestrator for the project.

The disc will include a variety of music, including covers of songs associated with Joni Mitchell, Stevie Wonder, and Chaka Khan, along with reinterpreted theatre favorites. In addition to Sampliner on keyboard, the musicians on the disc will include Sammy Merendino (percussion), Steve Count (bass), John Putnam (electric guitar), Chris Biesterfeldt (acoustic guitar), and Rob “The Honeydripper” Paparozzi (harmonica), as well as Tom Timko, Steve Jankowski, Jens Wendelboe (horns), and Laura Bontrager, Chris Cardona and Christian Hebel (strings).

Reiber has played Elphaba in Wicked on Broadway. Among her other stage credits are All Shook Up and Bklyn in New York, as well as the forthcoming Tales of the City in San Francisco.
