Stage and film star Marni Nixon will act as the narrator for the Lar Lubovitch Dance Company’s acclaimed production of Stravinsky’s Histoire du Soldat at the Manhattan Music and Arts Center, February 10-12.

The program, which also features Lubovitch’s Crisis Variations, will feature live music by Le Train Bleu, under the direction of conductor Ransom Wilson.

Performed by three dancers, three actors, and seven musicians, Histoire du Soldat tells the story of a soldier who trades his fiddle to the devil for a book that predicts the future.

The cast includes Lubovitch dancers Reid Bartelme as the Soldier, Attila Joey Csiki as the Devil, and Nicole Corea as the Princess, along with actors Corey Dargel as the Soldier, and Reed Armstrong as the Devil.
