Idina Menzel’s Live Barefoot At The Symphony CD, DVD Set for March 6 Release

Idina Menzel’s new CD Live Barefoot At The Symphony will be released by Concord Records on March 6. The album was recorded at the Koerner Hall at The Royal Conservatory in Toronto and also the 52-piece Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony, conducted by Marvin Hamlisch.

The 16 track CD will feature both “For Good” and “Defying Gravity” from Wicked, along with “Tomorrow,” “Heaven Help My Heart,” “Where or When,” and “Poker Face,” among others. Additionally the album contains a medley of “Funny Girl” and “Don’t Rain on My Parade” and on that pairs “Love for Sale” with “Roxanne.”

In addition to the CD, a DVD of the concert will be released on March 6 and the event will be aired as a special on PBS affiliates beginning March 3 (check local listings).
