Songlist Announced for New York Philharmonic’s Classic Broadway Concert, Featuring Nathan Gunn, Kelli O’Hara

The songlist for the New York Philharmonic’s Classic Broadway concert, to be held on March 21 at Avery Fisher Hall, has been announced. As previously reported, Nathan Gunn and Kelli O’Hara will be the vocalists for the event, which will be conducted by Ted Sperling.

The concert will feature songs with music by Richard Rodgers, Jerome Kern, Cole Porter, Kurt Weill, and Leonard Bernstein. The lyricists represented will include Oscar Hammerstein II, Alan Jay Lerner; Ogden Nash, Betty Comden and Adolph Green, Richard Wilbur, and Stephen Sondheim.

Among the songs to be performed are “If I Loved You” from Carousel; “All the Things You Are” from Very Warm for May; “Wunderbar” and “So in Love” from Kiss Me Kate; “That’s Him” from One Touch of Venus; “Carried Away” and “Lonely Town” from On the Town; “Glitter and Be Gay” from Candide; and “Tonight” from West Side Story.
