Glee star and Tony Award nominee Matthew Morrison released his first single, “Summer Rain,” which will appear on his forthcoming solo album, due out later this year.
“I hope people dig it, and if they don’t they don’t,” said Morrison just before world premiering the song on On Air with Ryan Seacrest.
Morrison received Tony Award nominations for his work on The Light in the Piazza, and South Pacific. His other Broadway credits include A Naked Girl on the Appian Way and Hairspray. He currently plays Will Scheuster on Glee.
