Ellen Lauren will reprise her performance in Jocelyn Clarke’s Room, to run March 12-27 at Women’s Project. Anne Bogart will direct the production, which the company premiered eleven years ago.

Based on the writings of Virginia Woolf, the piece charts the arc of a creative spirit in crisis, attempting to articulate a vision.

A member of SITI Company and its associate artistic director, Lauren’s credits include: Under Construction, Radio MacBeth, Who Do You Think You Are, Hotel Cassiopeia, Death and the Ploughman, Midsummer Night’s Dream, bobrauschenbergamerica, systems/layers, War of the Worlds, Cabin Pressure, The Medium, Culture of Desire, Going, Going, Gone, and Orestes.

The creative team will include Neil Patel (scenic design), James Schuette (costume design), and sound by Darron L West (sound design), as well as Christopher Akerlind (original lighting design) and Brian H Scott (associate lighting design).
