
Stand-up comedy, music and sketches created by Saturday Night Live cast members and writers will be part of Beyond Funderdome Comedy Blowout, a benefit event to be held at 3LD Art & Technology Center on Sunday, January 31 at 8pm. Emily Heller will host the event, which will raise money for New Georges’ forthcoming production of The Diary of a Teenage Girl.
Seth Meyers, Fred Armisen, Will Forte, Jason Sudeikis, Abby Elliott, Bridey Elliott, Jorma Taccone, Colin Jost, and Hannibal Buress are among the SNL talents who will participate. Additionally, comedian John Mulaney and The Renaldo The Ensemble will perform. Additional entertainers and guests will be announced at a later date.
Tickets for the event are $85 (general admission) and $150, which includes pre-show cocktails with the performers.
The Diary of a Teenage Girl is adapted by Marielle Heller from the graphic novel by Phoebe Gloeckner. Sarah Cameron Sunde and Rachel Eckerling will direct the production, which will begin performances at 3LD on March 15.
