Carly Simon to Be Honored at April 19 Our Time Gala

Grammy and Academy Award winner Carly Simon will be the honoree at Our Time Theatre Company’s annual Gala, to be held at NYU’s Skirball Center & Rosenthal Pavilion, on April 19.

The non-profit organization uses the arts as an innovative and effective approach to improving the confidence and communication skills of youth who stutter. The gala will feature original poems, speeches, and songs (written by the kids themselves) alongside professional artists.

Simon, who has spoken publicly of her life-long stammer, is a long-time supporter of Our Time, and recently appeared on their CD Listen.
