The play, which had been originally scheduled to premiere last season at San Diego's Old Globe Theatre, concerns Mark (who was to be played by Broderick), a 40-something married man who works at the Hayden Planetarium whose life turns upside-down when he meets a pretty young single mother.
Lonergan's previous plays include Lobby Hero, The Waverly Gallery, and This Is Our Youth. He also wrote the screenplay for You Can Count on Me.
