Playwright and screenwriter David Rambo has been hired to write Reagan, a solo show about actor-turned-president Ronald Reagan, according to a report in Variety. Peter Hunt will direct the piece, which will be filmed for theatrical release.

Rambo's play, The Lady With All the Answers, about advice columnist Ann Landers is currently playing at Off-Broadway's Cherry Lane Theatre.

His other plays include God's Man in Texas and The Ice-Breaker. He is also a writer for CBS' popular CSI television series.
