Latin music star and Broadway veteran Marc Anthony will guest star on TNT's Hawthorne, according to a report in Variety.

Anthony will play a New York City cop who is investigating a kidnapping in Richmond, where the series takes place, and who falls in love with Jada Pinkett Smith's character, a chief nurse in a local hospital.

Anthony starred on Broadway in Paul Simon's The Capeman. His film credits include El cantante, Man on Fire and Bringing Out the Dead. He is currently in the middle of a tour for his current Spanish album, Iconos. His many other recordings includ Libre, Mended, Amar Sin Mentiras and Sigo Siendo Yo, as well as the eponymous Marc Anthony.
