The Laurie Beechman Theatre has announced its performance schedule for August.

Highlights include a special performance Sondheim Unplugged (August 2), with special guests including Darius DeHaas, Kevin Dozier, Kurt Peterson, and Julie Reyburn, as well as return appearances by Joan Rivers (August 5 and 19).

The Joe Iconis Rock and Roll Jamboree (August 9, 16, 23, 20), will feature the composer along with Joseph Brent, Katrina Rose Dideriksen. Ian Kagey, Jeremy Morse, Krysta Rodriguez, Lance Rubin, Brent Stranathan, Jared Weiss, Jason "SweetTooth" Williams, and The Kissin' Kazoo Sisters (Liz Lark Brown and MK Lawson). Special guests will be Felicia Finley (August 9), Anthony Rapp (August 16), Heidi Blickenstaff (August 23), and Lisa Brescia (August 30).

Also on tap will be Times Square Divas (August 6), Le Scandal (August 7, 14, 21, 28), songwriters Adam Gwon, Scott Alan, Tommy Newman, John Mercurio, Jason Michael Snow, Julia Meinwald, Rob Shapiro, Joey Contreras, and Alex Wyse performing music from their own catalogs as part of In Their Own Voice (August 9), Susie Mosher (August 15 and 29), Brandon Cuttrell (August 18 and 26), Cabaret Cares (August 22), Tony DeSare (August 23), and Julie Reyburn (August 31).
