B.D. Wong to Appear With New Amsterdam Symphony Orchestra

Tony Award winner B.D. Wong will be the Narrator when the New Amsterdam Symphony Orchestra performs Aaron Copland's "Lincoln Portrait" at 8pm on Friday, February 12 at Peter Norton Symphony Space.

Led by guest conductor Matthew Oberstein, the orchestra will also perform George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" with pianist Michael Boriskin, as well as Copland's "Appalachian Spring" and Gould's "American Salute."

The actor won a Tony Award for his performance in David Henry Hwang's M. Butterfly. His other Broadway credits include Pacific Overtures, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and Face Value. His film and television credits include Jurassic Park, Father of the Bride, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
