Public Theater Mobile Unit to Present Twelfth Night

The Shakespearean comedy will tour correctional facilities and other venues.

The Public Theater will present a touring production of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night as part of its yearly Mobile Unit initiative. Directed by Saheem Ali, the free tour will take place March 30-April 22 and visit correctional facilities, homeless shelters, social service organizations, and other community venues. To celebrate the Mobile Unit's 60th anniversary, the subsequent run at the Public's home venue will be free for all, April 24-May 14.

The complete cast includes Stephen S. Chacon (Sebastian), Michael Bradley Cohen (Orsino, Sir Andrew Aguecheek), Danaya Esperanza (Viola), Ceci Fernandez (Olivia), Christopher Ryan Grant (Sir Toby Belch), Donnetta Lavinia Grays (Feste), Aneesh Sheth (Maria), David Ryan Smith (Malvolio), and Michael Thurber (Antonio).

Twelfth Night scenic design by Arnulfo Maldonado, costume design by Dede Ayite, music composition by Michael Thurber, movement direction by Tanya Birl, and fight direction by Lisa Kopitsky.
