Katharine Hepburn to Be Featured on 2010 Stamp

Stage and screen star Katharine Hepburn will be featured in the Postal Service’s Legends of Hollywood series, according to published reports. A stamp featuring her image will be issued on May 12.

Among the other new 2010 stamps will be images of Mother Teresa, singer Kate Smith, filmmaker Oscar Micheaux, the Winslow Homer painting “Boys in a Pasture,” poet Julia de Burgos, and film actors Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, Tom Mix and William S. Hart on a stamp series called Cowboys of the Silver Screen.
