Casey Nicholaw has taken over as director of Dame Edna and Michael Feinstein‘s Broadway show, All About Me. He replaces Jerry Zaks, who was previously reported, has joined the production team of The Addams Family as creative consultant.

All About Me is written by Christopher Durang, and will play the Henry Miller’s Theatre, with previews beginning February 19 in anticipation of a March 18 opening.

Nicholaw directed and choreographed The Drowsy Chaperone and choreographed Monty Python’s Spamalot. His upcoming projects include the Broadway-bound world premiere of Robin and the 7 Hoods, to play the Old Globe Theatre in Summer of 2010.

Feinstein has previously played Broadway in Michael Feinstein in Concert, and two additional concerts subtitled Piano and Voice and Isn’t It Romantic. He is a four-time Grammy nominee and received a special Drama Desk Award in 1988 for celebrating American musical theater songs.

Barry Humphries, aka Dame Edna Everage, has been performing for over 50 years. He has also starred in such shows as Dame Edna: Back with a Vengeance and Dame Edna: The Royal Tour, for which he won the Drama Desk award for Outstanding Solo Performance and received a Special Tony Award for Live Theatrical Presentation.
