The winners of the 2004 Nightlife Awards have just been announced. Originated and produced by TheaterMania’s Scott Siegel, the awards are now in their second year. The honorees are selected by more than 20 participating judges who cover the arts for a variety of media outlets including The New Yorker, the Daily News, Newsday, the New York Post, the New York Observer, TimeOut NY, and The Village Voice. All of the winners have been invited to perform in the 2004 Nightlife Awards Concert at Town Hall on Monday, January 12th at 7pm. The event will be co-hosted by Andrea Marcovicci and directed by Jamie McGonnigal; celebrities set to perform or present include Betty Buckley, Magaret Whiting, Christine Andreas, Helen Gurley Brown, Lea DeLaria, Sandy Duncan, Tovah Feldshuh, Tammy Grimes, Jackie Hoffman, Ute Lemper, Seth Rudetsky, and John Selya.
