A First Look at Disney's Upcoming Broadway Production of Aladdin

The new musical features music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman, Tim Rice, and Chad Beguelin.

A new stage musical version of Disney's Aladdin is set to hit Broadway in 2014. The production will play at the New Amsterdam Theatre beginning February 26, with an opening on March 20. Adam Jacobs (The Lion King), James Monroe Iglehart (Memphis), Courtney Reed (In the Heights), and Jonathan Freeman (The Little Mermaid) lead the cast, which is currently with the show at Toronto's Ed Mirvish Theatre.
