Penny Fuller to Know 13 Things About Ed Carpolotti

Tony Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Penny Fuller will star in the New York premiere of Barry Kleinbort’s new musical 13 Things About Ed Carpolotti, to run December 4-30 at 59E59 Theaters.

Kleinbort will direct the show, which features musical direction by Paul Greenwood. An official opening is set for December 11.

Based on the play by Jeffrey Hatcher, 13 Things about Ed Carpolotti is the story of a widow who finds out that her late husband left them in perilous debt to shady bankers, mobsters, and embezzlers.

A three-time Tony Award nominee, Fuller’s Broadway work includes Barefoot in the Park, Cabaret, Applause, The Dinner Party, and Dividing The Estate.

She won the Emmy Award for her work in the ABC-TV adaptation of The Elephant Man and has been nominated five other times, including for her work as Mae in PBS’ production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
