Following praise from critics and audiences alike, the Off-Broadway production of Traces will transition from a limited engagement to an open-ended run at the Union Square Theatre. Traces by the Montreal-baed troupe 7 Fingers, began previews on July 29, 2011 and opened to great acclaim on August 8.

In the show, the human body is pushed to its limits as a group of friends leave their mark in a run-down warehouse through acrobatics, music and dance. The production fuses the traditions of circus with the energy of street performance.

Traces is performed by Mason Ames, Valérie Benôit-Charbonneau, Mathieu Cloutier, Bradley Henderson, Phillipe Normand-Jenny, Xia Zhengqi, and Florian Zumkehr with alternate cast members Héloïse Bourgeois, Sen Lin, and William Underwood.
