PHOTO FLASH: Cirque du Soleil Performers Rename 33rd Street "Wintuk Way"

By New York City
Cirque du Soleil kicked off the final season of its family-friendly holiday show, Wintuk, at the Theater at Madison Square Garden, by renaming 33rd Street "Wintuk Way."

Cast members unveiled their new street sign at the southwest corner of 33rd Street and 7th Avenue on Wednesday, November 17, to celebrate their first performance of this final season.

Wintuk, which plays through January, weaves acrobatics, theatrical effects, and songs as it follows a boy's quest for snow. The production features an international cast of 50 performers.
