Perfect Harmony will play its final Off-Broadway performance at the Acorn Theatre on Theatre Row on Saturday, November 13.

The musical is written by Andrew Grosso and The Essentials and has been directed by Grosso. It focuses on a fictional all-male high school a cappella group that has won 17 national championships and the all-girl group that are their perennial rivals.

The company features Dana Acheson (Melody McDaniels), Faryl Amadeus (Valerie Smooter), Clayton Apgar (Jasper Mergh), Marie-France Arcilla (Kerri Taylor/Tobi McClintoch), David Barlow (Simon Depardieu/Goran Dhiardeaubovic), Kate Morgan Chadwick (Michaela Dhiardeaubovic/Kiki Tune), Jarid Faubel (JB Smooter), Kobi Libii (Phillip Fellows V), Kelly McCreary (Meghan Beans), and Robbie Collier Sublett (Lassiter A. Jayson III).

The creative team includes Nick Francone (scenic design), Becky Lasky (costume design), and Brian M. Jones (lighting design). Ray Bailey and Adam Wachter provide vocal arrangements and serve as musical directors.

The musical had its premiere at the 2006 NY International Fringe Festival, and had an extended run as part of the 2006 Fringe Encore Series. In 2008, the show moved to Theatre Row, where it sold-out its extended run at the Clurman Theatre. This current staging began its run at 45 Bleecker Theaters where after 5 preview performances the theater was shut down due to a landlord-tenant dispute. Performances then resumed a week later at The Acorn.
