Will Barrington Stage Company's acclaimed revival of On the Town come into town — Broadway, that is? That's the question we've been wondering since we saw John Rando's delightful staging this past summer in the Berkshires. While we have no official confirmation that this classic Betty Comden, Adolph Green, and Leonard Bernstein musical will make the transfer this spring, we do know that rumors have been swirling in that direction since July 13 when the production closed.

Our most recent evidence comes from a newly written press biography of Emmy-winning choreographer Joshua Bergasse (Smash), who created the dances for this production. It mentions, at the very end of his bio, "Upcoming on Broadway: On the Town."

Rando's staging at Barrington starred Tony Yazbeck (who will next be seen in Rando's revival of Little Me at Encores!, where this On the Town originated), Jay Armstrong Johnson (The Last Goodbye), and Clyde Alves (Nice Work If You Can Get It), along with Elizabeth Stanley (Cry-Baby), Alysha Umphress, Deanna Doyle (On Your Toes), Nancy Opel (Honeymoon in Vegas), and Michael Rupert (Legally Blonde).

We're super pumped to see this tale of three sailors looking for love in the Big Apple back at home, where the quintessential New York musical belongs.

Anchors aweigh!
