PHOTO FLASH: Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake Visits Times Square

On Wednesday, October 13, cast members from the Tony Award-winning production of Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake came to Times Square to promote the show, which is set to return to New York City with performances beginning at New York City Center tonight, and running through November 7.

Directed and choreographed by Bourne, the production is perhaps best known for replacing the traditional female corps de ballet with a menacing male ensemble. It features set and costume designs by Lez Brotherston and lighting design by Rick Fisher.

The cast will include Richard Winsor and Jonathan Ollivier, alternating in the role of The Swan with Dominic North and Simon Williams as The Prince, Nina Goldman and Madelaine Brennan as The Queen, Shelby Williams as The Girlfriend, and Steve Kirkham and Ashley Bain as The Private Secretary.
