On Sunday, October 24 Second Stage officially opened its revival of Arthur Kopit’s 1978 play Wings. Tony Award winner John Doyle directs the production.

The play centers on Emily Stilson, a 1920s wingwalker who suffers a stroke. The show stars Jan Maxwell, alongside Teagle F. Bougere, Beth Dixon, Adam Heller, January LaVoy, Anne L. Nathan, and Michael Warner.

Opening night guests included Kristin Chenoweth, Bobby Cannavale, Sutton Foster, Tony Roberts, Jamie deRoy, Carolyn McCormick, Byron Jennings, Harriett D. Foy, David Greenspan, and Fred Applegate.
