Bradford Cover, Austin Pendleton, Margot White et al. Set for Pearl’s Rosmersholm

The Pearl Theatre Company has announced full casting for the American premiere of a new version of Henrik Ibsen’s Rosmersholm, adapted by Mike Poulton. Elinor Renfield will direct the production, which will play New York City Center Stage II, November 12-December 19, with an opening on November 21.

The play focuses on a free-thinking crusader named Rebecca West and a former priest, Johannes Rosmer, presiding owner of the Rosmersholm estate and a prominent figure in the community.

In addition to the previously announced Austin Pendleton, who will play Doctor Kroll, the cast will feature Robin Leslie Brown (Mrs. Helseth), Bradford Cover (Johannes Rosmer), Dominic Cuskern (Peder Mortensgaard), Dan Daily (Ulrik Brendel), and Margot White (Rebecca West).

The creative team will include Harry Feiner (scenic design), Niki Hernandez-Adams (costume design), Stephen Petrilli (lighting design), and Toby Jaguar Algya (sound design).
