Martha Plimpton, David Morse, Daphne Rubin-Vega, John Patrick Shanley, et. al. to Be Part of LAByrinth’s Reading Series

Martha Plimpton and David Morse are joining the acting company for the 20 plays that will receive free public readings as part of the LAByrinth Theatre Company’s Barn Series and Live Nude Plays program at the Public Theater, October 6- November 9. Plimpton will be featured in Pirate (October 12, 8pm), a new play by John Patrick Shanley and Morse will join the cast of Ninth and Joanie (October 13, 6:30pm), a new play by Brett C. Leonard.

The company of performers will also include Julian Acosta, Betsy Aidem, Cara Akselrad, Carlo Alban, Eric Bogosian, Maggie Burke, Elizabeth Canavan, Bobby Cannavale, Samrat Chakerbat, Chris Chalk, Andrea Ciannavei, Beth Cole, J. Eric Cook, Kevin Corrigan, David Deblinger, Jamie Dunn, Danelle Eliav, Nia Fairweather, Marieke Gaboury, Lola Glaudini, Charles Goforth, Yetta Gottesman, Craig “muMs” Grant, Nic Grelli, Scott Hudson, Salvatore Inzerillo, Russell G. Jones, Jinn S. Kim, Jamie Klassel, Angela Lewis, Trevor Long, Florencia Lozano, Eric T. Miller, Tomoko Miyagi, Nyambi Nyambi, Kelley Rae O’Donnell, Pedro Pascal, Richard Petrocelli, Michael Puzzo, Justin Reinsilber, Joselin Reyes, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Gerry Rodriguez, Melissa Ross, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Matthew Stadelman, Alladin Ullah, Carlos Valencia, Ed Vassallo, Yul Vázquez, Katherine Waterston, Aaron Weiner, Sid Williams, Max Woertendyke, and David Zayas.

Other playwrights participating in the LAByrinth’s Barn Series 2009 are Bob Glaudini, Rebecca Cohen, Kristina Poe, Padraic Lillis, Andrea Ciannavei, Greg Keller, Craig ‘muMs’ Grant, David Bar Katz, and Ed Vassallo.

The less informal readings in Live Nude Plays 2009 begin on October 31, and include plays by John Gould Rubin, David Anzuelo, Seth Svi Rosenfeld, Florencia Lozano, Alladin Ullah, Frank Pugliese, David Deblinger, and Rubin-Vega.
