Tony Award winner Bernadette Peters will star this November in Stephen Sondheim's new jazz project with Wynton Marsalis, A Bed and a Chair: A New York Love Affair, New York City Center announced Thursday.

In addition to Peters, the cast will also feature Cyrille Aimée, Meg Gillentine, and Tyler Hanes, with additional casting to be announced at a later date.

Peters has starred on Broadway in many of Sondheim's works, most recently in Follies and A Little Night Music. She received Tony Award nominations for her performances as Rose in Gypsy and as Dot in Sunday in the Park With George. Conceived by Doyle, Peter Gethers, and Jack Viertel, the musical event will feature choreography by Parker Esse and musical supervision by David Loud. A Bed and a Chair will run for seven performances, November 13-17, at City Center.
