Decca has just released opera superstar Renée Fleming’s new CD, The Art of Renée Fleming.

This “best of” album includes Fleming singing some of her favorite operatic arias including “Vissi d’Arte” and “O Mio Babino Caro.”

In addition, the CD includes the Gershwins’ “Summertime,” Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim’s “Somewhere” with Placido Domingo, Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens’ “Wheels of a Dream” with Bryn Terfel, Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein’s “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” the hymn “Amazing Grace,” and a brand new version of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.”

Fleming will appear in the Metropolitan Opera’s upcoming production of Otello, beginning on October 9, and has numerous symphony and concert appearances scheduled.
