Target Margin Theater Announces Two-Season Exploration of Yiddish Theater

Target Margin Theater has announced Beyond the Pale, a two-season exploration of Yiddish theater, looking at domestic drama, philosophical drama, verse drama, avant-garde experimentation, political statement plays, and the good old nostalgic drama of the Shtetl.

The exploration will include an array of productions, workshops, readings and panel discussions, launching the 2012-13 season with the annual Target Margin Laboratory, October 17-November 3 at The Brick.

In March 2013, Beyond the Pale will continue with a re-imagined classic work from the canon of Yiddish Theater that will be presented at Abrons Art Center at Henry Street Settlement.
