Emmy winner and Tony nominee S. Epatha Merkerson attended a recent performance of Rain Pryor's one-woman show Fried Chicken and Latkes, playing at the Actors' Temple Theatre, and visited with the writer/performer afterwards.

In the award-winning piece, Pryor examines her life as the daughter of comedian Richard Pryor, and growing up African-American and Jewish in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
