Stage and screen star Ben Stiller will host the October 8 edition of NBC’s Saturday Night Live, according to TVGuide.com.
Stiller played the role of Artie Shaughnessy in the 2011 Broadway revival of John Guare’s The House of Blue Leaves, as well as Ronnie Shaughnessy in the play’s 1986 Lincoln Center revival.
He is best known for his film and television work, which includes A Night at the Museum, Meet the Parents, and Meet the Fockers. He will be seen opposite Eddie Murphy in the upcoming film Tower Heist. He earned a 1993 Emmy for writing The Ben Stiller Show.
