Cast members from Broadway's Evita, Newsies, Rent, Chicago, Rebecca, and Sistas the Musical took part in the Thursday, August 9 edition of 106.7 Lite FM's Broadway in Bryant Park series of free lunchtime concerts. Lite FM radio personality Victor Sosa served as the event's emcee.

The concert opened with a sneak preview from the new musical Rebecca, with stars Jill Paice and Ryan Silverman, and Maree Johnson performing four numbers. Evita stars Christina DeCicco, Max von Essen, and Rachel Potter performed three numbers from their musical, as did Newsies cast members Kara Lindsay, Corey Cott, and Julie Foldesi.

Chicago cast members Donna Marie Asbury, Tony Yazbeck, Dylis Croman, and others brought out the feathers and sang four numbers. Rent stars Anthony Fedorov, Emma Hunton, Shaleah Adkisson, and Sean Michael Murray rocked the crowd with tunes from the classic musical.

Additionally, the afternoon featured an appearance by a 15-foot T-Rex from the exhibition Field Station: Dinosaurs, now at the Meadowlands in New Jersey. Also on hand for the afternoon was upcoming Jekyll & Hyde star Constantine Maroulis.
