Stage and screen star Keith Carradine has joined the cast of Joss Whedon's TV series Dollhouse, according to a report in TV Guide.

The Academy Award-winning actor will appear in at least two episodes of the FOX show, playing a business man who is connected to the characters played by Olivia Williams and Dichen Lachman. In addition to his work on Dollhouse, Carradine will also resume his part on Showtime's Dexter this season.

Carradine's stage work includes his Tony Award-nominated performance in The Will Rogers Follies on Broadway as well as his performances last season in New Year's Eve and Mindgame. He won the Oscar for Best Song for "I'm Easy" from the film Nashville, in which he also co-starred.
