A peek into the creative process behind the pop opera Bare will be offered at the Ars Nova theater on Sunday, September 12 as TheaterMania.com presents "Bare Facts," a discussion with composer/co-librettist Damon Intrabartolo, director Kristin Hanggi, and cast members Michael Arden, Jenna Leigh Green, and Natalie Joy Johnson. The latest in a series of TheaterMania talks with theater professionals, the program will begin at 6pm and will be moderated by the website's editor in chief, Michael Portantiere. A question and answer period will follow the discussion.

Originally produced in Los Angeles in 2000, Bare had a highly successful Off-Off-Broadway run at the American Theatre of Actors this spring and is now poised to open Off-Broadway in one of the five theaters in the new Dodger Stages complex on West 50th Street. The pop opera concerns a group of seniors at a co-ed Catholic high school. "In struggling with coming of age and leaving adolescence," says composer Intrabartolo, "they explore all these ways of dealing with what comes next. They look to the church, their parents, rave culture, the media."
