Personal Space Theatrics Announces Upcoming Season

Personal Space Theatrics has announced the shows that will make up its 2003-2004 season, focused on the subject of obsession.

The season will open with the New York premiere of Christopher Woods’s Moonbirds at Theater 54@Shelter, located at 244-250 West 54th Street. The play follows two international census takers who tackle the mystery of a Middle Eastern desert’s vanished inhabitants as they themselves face their most base needs and obsessions. Next up is PST’s second annual staged reading of Charles Dickens’s classic A Christmas Carol, adapted by artistic director Stephen Wargo and featuring musical arrangements by Diane Adams McDowell. Closing the season will be the U.S. premiere of Dave Carley’s Orchidelierium, concerning people in two different centuries whose lives and fortunes turn on the petals of the mysterious orchid.
